Prunes MacGonagal & L'il Shep

Live at the Lion August 1958

In August 1958 Prunes MacGonagal & L’il Shep squeezed in an extra date on the European leg of their world tour — having been invited to play the Lion in Finchingfield by the Cult of Ffynche. As honorary Cultists and long standing friends the duo were delighted to accept, particularly as it meant jamming with their old pal Picker Peabody, who’d never quite been able to escape the maternal clutches of Ritual and return to Pike County, Kentucky after the end of hostilities.

A sultry summer night; live music; good friends and great beer. It was quite a night. Enjoy some highlights below.
